Wow! What a weekend! We celebrated Cora's birthday on Saturday even though her actual birthday isn't until Tuesday. We had so much fun and everything went very smoothly. My biggest praise was the great weather. It was a little overcast, but no rain and that was the most important thing! My biggest complaint is not enough pictures! I can see why it is very important to designate a picture taker. We really don't have any of Cora, Jonathan, and I or of her birthday banner, the food table etc. But my friend Kate is going to send me some more, so there might be a follow up post in a few days!
I just felt so blessed all weekend to be Cora's mom. This has been the most amazing year of my life. I haven't let myself get too sad that I don't have a baby anymore because her actual birthday isn't until tomorrow. So, get ready for a breakdown post tomorrow!
Cora's party was a minnie mouse theme. I had so much fun planning the party and yes I did get a little carried away. Everyone kept asking me how I would top this next year, but I'm not going to try! I wanted to do a big bash for number one, but after this we will do smaller parties. Thanks to everyone who came and brought gifts. Cora is a lucky little girl!
The wreath my mom and I made for the front door.
The favors were mints since most of the guests were adults.
Minnie was at the welcome table where Cora's baby book and pictures were on display.
Inside was Cora's sweet shoppe where the kids could fill up a bag of candy. We also hung a banner of all her chair pictures from the each month of the year.
The cake table.
Cora having fun eating her cake!
She finally said "Enough of this!"
The kids lined up to pull a string to open the pinata.
Wow! Cora is so blessed she got so many adorable gifts!
And finally all the cute kiddos that celebrated with Cora. These memories will last a lifetime!

Christen...I am DYING! That is the cutest party I have ever seen. Nothing went unnoticed, even the blanket that Cora sat on matched the theme. You have set the bar high! I wish that we could have been there. I will be celebrating Cora tomorrow!
